Happy Birthday, Samuel!

Just wanted to do a quick post to wish Samuel a happy 9th birthday - albeit a day late...oops. We had a wonderful time celebrating with his chosen supper of spaghetti on the table (which is exactly what it sounds like), green peas, garlic bread, and banana splits!

Our dear little Sammy came to us through foster care at 3 months old as a broken and abused little baby. (For those who want to hear his whole story, check out the GoFundMe page from when we were fighting a legal battle for him - Mom shared his story on that page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/v5y223nw ) He is now a smart, handsome nine-year-old with mischevious blue eyes and faceful of freckles. We are so grateful for this little guy!
