The D-Team and Me
Hi, my name’s Jaela, and I’m a twenty-year-old writer whose goal is to glorify God in everything I write, whether it be a blog article, a short story, a poem, or a novel. I’ve been homeschooled my entire life, for which I am grateful, as it allowed me to earn my Associates degree in 11th grade and my Bachelor’s degree at the same time as my high school diploma. I love Jesus, my family, reading, writing, theater, piano, singing, and watching a good movie. I am an introvert who can write better than I can keep a conversation going.
I’m a lifelong Minnesota resident, however, my family recently purchased a house in Iowa, so I’m looking forward to becoming a proud Iowa citizen once we return in May of 2024 from exploring the United States in an RV.
When people learn that my family is moving all eight of us, two dogs, and five musical instruments into a 32-foot RV for nine months, they inevitably get wide-eyed incredulous and then ask: “Is anybody going to write a travel blog?” This site is the answer to that question. I’ve never blogged before, so this will be a growing experience for me. Hopefully y’all will bear with me as I attempt to detail our craziness!
Meet the team: My family consists of Mom (AKA Jean, master planner of all the things), Dad (AKA Mark, master griddle chef), Randall (age 24), Dominic (age 23), myself, Maleah (age 17), Samuel (age 9), Levi (age 8), and two canines.
