Hey Folks,
I'm sure y'all have seen pictures of Horseshoe Bend in Arizona: a beautiful red rock pillar surrounded by a stunning blue-green moat and enclosed by walls of more red rock. Truly Instagram-worthy...
...except those photos are always photoshopped. Introducing the non-photoshopped version:
We were very excited to arrive at Horseshoe Bend, to view the stunning sight so popular on social media and the internet. While it was certainly beautiful, many of us felt let down at the reality of the view. It wasn't really all that exciting, plus the number of people posing right on the edge of the viewing cliff made it nerve-wracking to hang out there for long. So we grabbed a quick picture (a safe distance from the edge), hiked back to the RV and that was the end of that.
Short trip there = short post :)
Until next time, God bless!
