August 10, 2023 - Drummond, WI & Lakeville, MN

Hammocks, kayaks, swimming, and more! The last couple days were spent with our wonderful bonus grandparents and their beautiful Rottweiler at their lovely cabin overlooking a lake. It was an awesome time of laughter and making memories. The weather was delightful, and we were sad to leave, but it was time to head for Lakeville, MN for a church BBQ and final visit with long-time family friends.

Now we are heading to Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota where the real adventure will begin! (Not that the last week and a half have exactly been smooth sailing.) Since we are just now leaving Apple Valley, MN we aren't sure where we'll spend the night...all we know is it it will be somewhere between here and there, and we'll not be blessed with the luxurious showers and laundry machines we've had the pleasure of using the past several days :)
