Random Journal Poetry

This is a random poem I came across in my journal recently. Not sure what was going on that inspired it, but apparently I was in a rhyming mood when I wrote it...normally my poetry (attempts) are free verse style.

Shine Bright

Heavenly Father,

Help me to shine Your light,

Into the darkness of night.

Give me strength to shine bright,

Even in the thick of life’s fight,

And when fear squeezes me tight.

Let me find refuge in Your might.
